How this started
We kept meeting makers with beautiful work and no way to sell it beyond a weekend market. Tanah Craft is the shop we wished existed for them. We buy the work outright, so the maker is paid whether or not it sells.
How we choose
It has to be made by hand, made in Malaysia, and made to be used. We turn down beautiful things that will sit on a shelf.
Visiting
Our studio in Petaling Jaya is open on Saturdays. Everything on the site is there to be picked up and handled.
